When photo mode arrives, I'd like to set up a scene with my first two parties meeting. I'll need the unlimited party size mod, and then I'd imagine it's not too hard to copy an unmodded Tav by copying all the slider values over onto a hireling. But is there a way to summon origin characters, even the ones who've permanently left the party, whether that's by a mod or typing things into the console? Part of why I think this might work is that the two parties have some very different people in them.

I had a look at Nexusmods, and the closest I see is Call Your Companions, but I'd like to summon them anywhere to become members of the active party.

Not exactly what you want, but the "customcompanions" mod also has a function that lets you clone any NPC as a hireling. Maybe you could use this to clone companions and keep these duplicates in your camp until you need them. If it's only for the visuals that should be sufficient.

Sorry, I thought I had replied earlier to say thanks for the suggestions. I gave Full Custom Companions a go last night and created a clone of the lead character from my other game. But the companions are a bit harder, because the companions I want left the game long ago (different companions in each game), so to get them back I'd have to go back to act 1. I'd like to have Minthara in the evil party, but also not to have to play through hours of game just to set up one picture.

The best solution I can think to try is using LsLib to edit a database to find flags for which companions are in/have left the party and put them back in; and probably go it in the save from the good party, because in that game I've got white-haired Shadowheart and horned Wyll, whereas in the evil game I've just got the half-illithid appearences, which I can probably do on the spot by feeding them tadpoles.

But if anyone has a better suggestion, I'm all ears. Otherwise I might just have to set up an argument between Tav & Durge instead of the battle scene hehe

I think I've got a way to do it. I couldn't find anything relevant in the LSLib database output, but the EasyCheat mod is capable of summoning origin characters into your party - with lots of warnings about the risk of breaking the story if you continue with them! But yeah - should be OK for posing them.

Only trouble is, I tried it in my evil game. So Jaheira spawned as a naked corpse; I can revive her and then she happily walks around Baldur's Gate in the nude - I assume this is a druid thing. Laezel spawns in incapacitated and can't be revived or helped, because in this game right now she's a bit tied up with Orin. Kind of interesting to see that, actually. So, I guess I should get back to the actual plot! But I'm pleased I've found a way to do it, and I thought I'd write it here in case anyone else wants to do something similar
