OP I don't know if you're still around, but I understand how you feel. People have mocked me and talked down to me so many times over *not* ascending Astarion (though I have in some playthroughs) and preferring his spawn ending. They mock him as a character too, saying he's weak and that my tav is abusing him by not letting him ascend, etc. People have said absolutely vicious lies about me, and spread it around across multiple discord servers, just because we didn't see eye to eye. There's something to be said about these type of people. However you play, it's your game. Do what makes you happy and just don't let these energy leeches get to you.
