Thanks for your reply. The mod is not really what I suggested. Essentially: white on perfect black. A setting that exists for dialogues. But I can imagine that a mod might exist or that I might be able to do it myself. It is not very clear to me how to add new mods to the game, while using geforce now. But I will have a look. I am sure it is explained well somewhere.
On the other part of my suggestion, having fixed tooltips while moving a mouse to move the magnifier, I did find a small workaround. Windows has a shortcut to move the zoom with keus, while keeping the mouse pointer om an item. It's a bit more cumbersome, but it helps.
