Bladesinger can use any weapon so long as it's the type they chose. Magical or no.
If the your modded scimitars are causing an issue, it will be due to those specific ones.
I've personally used both regular magical and modded magical weaponry as a Bladesinger, meaning it very much is an issue with these specific modded weapons.
