Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Used the key to Nericon's garden on graveyard. No solutions work.

All the solutions that I've ever found on this forum claim that the potion seller's back quarters contain a replacement for the key.

They absolutely don't. If they do, provide a screenshot. Nothing shows up with tab and I've hovered everywhere.

There must be a n alternative which players with low rep can use, which you can also use if you've spent the key on the graveyard (which is a glitch.)

How can I access Nericon's garden?

As far as I know, the key exists in a single copy, and you can’t get it without a good reputation.

Okay, so my options (option) are to use the editors linked by raze to edit my save file to reverse the glitch and put the key in my inventory.

Those links are from 2003 and are all broken.

Hey Epimetus, I am not entirely sure, if opening the gate via the key triggers anything important.
If that is not the case you could use the cheat engine table by atom0s. Increase the players speed to the point where you can traverse walls to enter the garden.

That's fine but there's a quest related to it and skipping over the gate doesn't complete it.

So the statue inside the garden won't talk to you? In this case, you will probably not be able to complete the quest. If it's any consolation, the quest is very short and not relevant to the story or game world.
Inside the garden you should still be able to complete the frog related easter egg.

The state *actually* talking to me seems to be a concern tho. since the file raze has includes an additional needless item (and so do other files) which was a book related to the quest. I opened it while going through the process thinking it won't alter my character. Hopefully there should be a way to replicate reading the book the legitimate way to get the statue to talk to me and the quest isn't now bugged.

(Just to clear up confusion, I know the statue doesn't automatically talk to you from a previous playthrough which had it's save files deleted due to computer failure, the reason the statue is talking to me is because I opened the book).
