YouTube just put plasma clinic ads on my shorts scroll wall. Or maybe it was Instagram. Nevermind. That joke above is literally the only mention of such a thing I've ever done.
Someone somewhere is either giving up my pseudo-anon ID to advertisers, or their scraping is so efficient the bots put two and two (and two and two and two) together to figure out what every pseudo-private ID for everyone out there is associated with which central ID.
This is rather unsettling.
