There's a thread on Reddit talking about another friendship dialogue with Halsin that's hard to trigger. In act 3, instead of confessing romantic feelings, he can say "now I see I have been blessed with a true friend also."
They think that to get it to play, you need less than 30 approval, and more than 10. I'm disappointed the approval cutoff is so low. I carefully avoided Halsin's flirt triggers in a recent playthrough, and I didn't get any of these friendship dialogues. They're quite nice, and I wish they were easier to trigger.
-edit- tested spamming the Friends cantrip until Halsin's approval was down to 25, which did not make him give a platonic version of the confession, so *shrugs*
