I would really like to see base building and larger battles in following games. Your base would be for fighting large hordes of enemies and could be one of the main narratives. Defeating large groups of enemies in DOS 2 and BG3 was the most fun that I had in each respective game. Imagine having arcane turrets, defensive walls and being able to kill dozens of enemies with a spell.

Even though BG3 does a pretty decent job of handling a large number of units in its combat system, something new might have to be implemented to handle hundreds of combat units. Controlling and/or fighting hundreds of units usually falls under RTS territory. It's a really interesting concept to me regarding how to build a turn-based system that can handle truly large-scale battles.

It would also be very awesome if there could be an epic cinematic and a unique soundtrack for at least one of the large-scale battles. The 'Battle of Eagle and Lion' from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is a great example of how a game can hype you up for a large battle.

What I discussed could bring Larian games to the next level. DOS2 and BG3 are already excellent games, however, expanding the scope of them with the aforementioned could make them godlike.
