So I know this is a super niche issue, and I know most things with the game have pretty much wrapped up but well here I go. I’m wondering if Larian might be able to code controller support into the launcher. So, I’ve had the game since it came out of early access, I was so excited to get to play it. And play I did to start. But then 3 things kept getting in the way. The first was modding, I would find myself looking for ways to mod the game rather than actually play it. The second was my cats, there was a problem cat in my building for a long time causing stress, plus them looking out for me (therapy cats). And finally my health, often I couldn’t spend much time sitting at my desk.
I’ve now come back to trying to actually play the game and finally at least get past act 1, but when I sit at my desk there is still the temptation to start modding the game. It’s so easy, nexus mods is right there, so is the mod menu. But if I sit on my couch and stream my screen through moonlight, then that temptation is gone and I’m finally getting somewhere. But every time I load the game there is the launcher window. And I have to get my phone to use the remote mouse to make the game run. It would be great if steam’s controller support would work but because the game is technically running the desktop controls aren’t. So yeah. Niche issue but maybe
