Really, the only problem is the Absolutists in the area. Which we see with the tieflings, many of them dying in an encounter and even more captured.
Though if people like Derryth and Mayrina don't leave until after you've headed to Act 3 and thus dealt with the Absolutists in some way (Either by murderizing them all to death, or furthering their goals so they march on towards Baldur's Gate) then it shouldn't be an issue.
