So thers this chat between Volo and Bosk.
People who knew about that meeting those two chatting at first time entering Druid Grove maybe interested to have a new twist on this chat.
Normally the Joke is that Volo doesnt understand Bosk the Bear and when you yourself talk to Bear with "Animal Speaking" you learn of the frustration from bosk trying to make Volo understand him.
But alas Volo just sees Bear as ferocious animal tearing Tieflings apart. Sadly!
So i pickpoketed the Potions of Animal Speaking from Volos Inventory and threw this potion in his face.
He wasnt amused about it but it diddnt made him fight.
Problem ist after a while he talked to Bosk again with clearly having the Animal Speaking Ability active on him now. But onetheless he talks lines about not understanding the Bear and whishing he could.
Either Larian didnt progress this idea further to use it as a way to let Bosk tell Volo a story about some magical items to found somewehere or something else or Larian Quest Writers wherent aware of this possible option to make Volo beeing able to have animal speaking.
Anyway, i suggest using this opportunity to give some fun part into this meeting or a chance to get something out of this. Like other secrets implemented in Patch 7.
Here we have a great way of bringing more secrets into BG3
