Would it be possible to stop lowering the sound volume when opening menus or sneaking? There aren't any critical sounds during those moments that require player focus, so the sudden drop in volume feels unnecessarily annoying.

Another frustrating design choice is linking all music to a single volume slider. If a player doesn't like the constant stream of exploration and battle music, turning it down also mutes all cutscene music - like Alfira's song in Act 1.

I want to emphasize how terrible the idea of muting sound during sneaking is. This odd game convention - where entering a sneak state lowers the volume to signify a "tense" moment - is completely absurd. Why would I become half-deaf while trying to avoid being noticed? Shouldn't it be the opposite? In a stealthy situation all my senses should be heightened. I should be extra aware, hearing every footstep, every faint sound around me. But no - instead I'm made to feel half-deaf. Why not dim the screen too, so I can experience the full spectrum of sensory impairment? Please, Larian - this is such a terrible idea. It's annoying and makes no sense!
