recently bought Baldur’s Gate 3 as a digital download for Xbox Series X a few months ago and started playing the game which I love and enjoy.
However since “Patch 8 update” I now cannot play the game on MY Xbox, the game loads same as before but as soon as I select an action to continue or anything else the game freezes and crashes.
I have tried the game logging in on 3 different Xbox’s (2 series X and on series S) and the game runs perfectly with no issues.
No other game i owns, either disc or digital downloads does this.
I have done a complete reset on my Xbox, downloaded the game again a few times but the issue still persists and is still fully playable on other Xbox’s.
I have considered buying the game on disc format but wary incase the issue still happens and would just be wasting money!
Given the fact that the game play on other machines but not mine would indicate a problem with my Xbox which is only 14 months old but bearing in mind that it worked with no issues and several hundred gaming hours invested before a patch was installed and all the other games, disc or digital work perfectly well I don’t see this as an issue with my Xbox.
Has anyone else come across this or is there something I can do to resolve this issue!!! I’m tearing my hair out with sheer frustration!!
