Clearing the goblin cave prior to extracting Sazza. Laezel with her default armor, I super-leap to the rune to turn it off, combat starts.

Hit on her.
Critical hit on her.
Gobbo casts a worg, worg gets critical.
Downed.

respec Laezel to have defence instead of two handed, give her magic armour from the shop and let Shadowheart cast armour on her be the battle... thats another +4 to her armour
& or
jump back out to the grove start and enter the cave from the other side, getting high ground and the drop on them

of course charge! is a valid playstyle as well

Perhaps you missed the double crits, which ignore AC. I don't know what the other roll was.
