Thanks for keeping this story going! I can’t even imagine how much time and effort goes into crafting all these details. The pacing and depth are seriously impressive — it feels like you’ve built a full-fledged world beyond the game itself.

Yes. It took a lot of time and effort, but it was a lot of fun just delving into the game and trying to figure out all of the in-depth mysteries Larian and their teams had created from Early Access all the way through to Full Release - and then to try to piece it all together with changes they made midstream after I'd already written certain story elements... But it was also a blast to add various other stories from other D&D campaigns to it in order to incorporate additional Forgotten Realms lore. It just fleshed everything out very nicely.

As for Demon Hunters, at the same time as I was playing Early Access BG3, I was also going through the Out of the Abyss campaign, doing a solo playthrough and writing it up as a narrative. That actually proved to be a lot of fun - creating characters and having them go through all sorts of encounters in the Out of the Abyss campaign, rolling the dice and everything to see how things would play out and then writing about it. Before I knew it, relatively early on, that story developed in such a way as to incorporate it into the overall grand story so that it flowed into BG3 very well.

And now, the story continues, inspired by the events that brought BG3 to its conclusion.

Baldur's Gate 3.5: Hellraisers - an original fanfic story that is a sequel to Baldur's Gate 3 Fanfic: The Afflicted. It picks up immediately after the events of Baldur's Gate 3 as characters from the previous fanfic - Fiovay, Kai, Aelun, Vlyn, and the other members of their party - travel to Avernus. Their quest is to save Karlach but also to hopefully find and rescue Darson, Aelun's father, from the clutches of Demogorgon.
