I just wanted to share that we’ll probably reach 15,000 amazing BG3 mods on Nexus today, October 19, 2025 (Central European Time) — including the adult mods, of course.
I think that’s absolutely fantastic, and I’m really happy to see so many brilliant mods out there.

It’s also worth checking out mod.io, since there are sometimes unique mods there that you won’t find on Nexus.


(As for me, I currently have over 400 mods installed, and I couldn’t be happier with my setup — though I have to admit, I’m using the BG3 Mod Manager (from LaughingLeader) rather than the in-game tool from Larian.)

I use both : ingame modmanager to install and delete modio mods, and BG3 for nexus mods and to reshuffle mod load order of the ensemble. It all works surprisingly well together. (I have a little over 50 mods installed.)
Only annoyance is that sometimes, like after a patch comes out, all mods are disabled, and there is no "enable all" button in the ingame modmanager, so you must click every one separately to enable it.

The only beef I have with mod.io is the curating process for console. There's something fishy going on there. I'm on PC, so I'm not affected personally, but a popular modder, whom I support via patreon seems to be boycotted for no reason. Larian refuses to answer any questions. Not nice, Larian.

Ah that's good. It wasn't there yet last time I had to re-enable them all.
