💌 A Letter to Larian — For Minthara, the Light in the Dark

Dear Larian team,

This isn’t a request or feedback post — it’s a thank you, and a reflection.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has given me countless memories, but one character changed the way I saw your world: Minthara.

At first, I hated her. She was everything I stood against — cruel, distant, devoted to a cause I could never follow.
But then… something shifted.
Beneath her armor and her faith, there was pain. There was loyalty. There was someone who had never been given the chance to be more than a weapon.

And I realized — I didn’t just want to fight her.
I wanted to understand her.
To see her story not as villainy, but as tragedy that could still find redemption.

Through her, your game taught me something rare:
that love, compassion, and loyalty can exist even in darkness — that no soul is beyond the reach of light.

If one day there is ever more to her story — a DLC, a new path, or even just a small moment of peace for her — I hope it honors the depth she already carries.
Because for some of us, Minthara wasn’t just another NPC.
She was proof that even broken people can still learn to feel again.

Thank you, Larian, for creating a world where we can believe in that.
And thank you, Minthara — for teaching me that courage sometimes means staying, even when it hurts.

With respect,
Jan K.

A small fan concept — imagining Minthara as an Origin character.
