Well, he's definitely lying dead in his cage. I had to take out the worg pens the usual way, but they were done with him. Those two brats were still standing there, so I assume they stoned him to death.
I checked the logs. Save the Tieflings is complete, marked fail.
Kill all 3 leaders -- only Gut listed
Investigate Kagha -- She agreed to stop the ritual and the tieflings could stay.
Kill Kagha -- Complete, we exposed her. The Tieflings can stay. It says so.
Top quest Save The Refugees -- Complete, the tieflings will likely die on the road.
So clearly I did something out of order, but I don't know what. Maybe going back into the mountain pass a second time, after the Karlach trick, forces completion anyway? I did buy the periapt, but that was it. I thought you could keep going back and forth, at least for a while.
Is there a place to verify their deaths on the road? Like I said, the only evidence I can see in the grove was an unusual blood stain, and one person commenting on what a shame something had happened. Logically, they must have died on the road, but why does it seem like the druids killed them in spite of quest status?
