Now it's getting eerie. I checked on his corpse again...gone! I am not imagining I saw it.
While approaching the cage, Shadowheart comments "claw marks, maybe Halsin, we should check the Grove to see if he went back there."
Get there, no Halsin anywhere, click on Kagha, "What about the Tieflings?" "It's ok, they can stay."
Between those two things, I had a glimmer of hope.
Go talk to Nettie. Any word of Halsin? "He's dead, saw his corpse." (Knew I wasn't imagining it!) She goes off to have a sad.
One other thing, the log shows Steal the Idol (Complete) we left the grove without stealing it.
Which is not true, we did steal it. But it must have been after the trigger point to "leave the grove".
In spite of odd blood stains near Arabella's spot, and in front of the little garden by the bird, I think it's more likely they just hit the road.
