Hello Campers!
Been getting the urge (not the Dark Urge thankfully) to fire up this ol beast of a game.
I play on both my laptop and my desktop PC. Usually the laptop as I have that running in the background for work and play through while between calls.
So.... When I play using the Steam cross save.
The laptop's local save files stay up to date. When I hop onto the desktop computer after a long shift I fire it up- Both laptop and desktop say "cloud up to date"..
But the save game is several hours behind. The Desktop will load the 2hour old save file, but won't see the updated cloud one.
I've gone ahead and uninstalled the game and all the local & save files and folders for a true fresh start- Upon reinstalling it does the same thing- It pulls the last game from the cloud-and it's the old save not the up to date save my laptop saved and uploaded to the cloud.
Any ideas? I've run through the troubleshooting guides I've found so far to 'force' it along. As a last resort I've been streaming the game from my laptop to the desktop. Not ideal as there is a bit of lag from the network.
