To be honest, I would love to have the armour types removed because they kinda restrict builds, you either optimise for physical armour or magical amour, dangling between the two is kind inefficient at best. Adding a new amour type would not solve that problem but rather more complications.
Amour + Elemental Resistance are the best IMHO
