I would wish more diversity, not another group of humans and elves. I want dwarves, lizzards and whatever other races DOS has. The BG3 companion cast was pretty lacking in that regard.
And good stories and characters would be nice. More focus on development and maybe a more versatile friendship path.
And a main character that feels more involved. I know, that the DOS games basically wanted you to play an origin to experience the whole story and I would prefer to make my own character.
