I recently stumbled upon this scene with Volo and Bosk, and to be honest, I was a little surprised that the developers didn't reveal this moment fully. It seemed to me that there could be some hidden plot detail or secret character reaction that players haven't discovered yet. It would be interesting to see if it can be activated in some way through other dialogues or items in the game. I am always fascinated when Baldur's Gate III leaves such little mysteries for players.
