Sorry if this was already discussed.

My idea is, that after the game ends, you get the the information, the interactive story, on how the world has changed since the main events.

I have seen this only once before, in Fallout 2.

After you finish the game, you are told the story of what happened with the vaults, with the cities, that Vic is now a farmer and has 5 kids and a dog, how and where the Chosen One ended his days.

I loved this in F2.

hey that's great, Egin. in addition, why not alternate endings as well to reflect the alternate paths which lead to different ends for RRR? or maybe with a twist like blizzard's warcraft 3 or diablo series.

fallout tactics seems to follow the same style as fallout 2: different ways to end the game yield different endings.

Or like that you think you can get away with everything now that you save the world, but that the farmers daughter didn't agree to that afterwards and that you end up in jail because of that, just to be used as a bouncing bag by the ones you had send to jail in the first place. After enduring that and feeling that the world seriously mistreated you, you are released and start leading a life of crime only to find out that you suddenly appear in 2 where you encounter the hero who kills you.

Of course this is for the evil alligned only

In arcanum you had also such an ending.
What happened with dwarfes en stuff like that. It was nice to know what exactly happens to the world.

I think that they didn't do this to have a more open ending. But they may implement it in the sequel.

Indeed, but it was nice to hear your thoughts.

Ok this is a great idea. For those of you that have had the pleasure of playing all three titles in the ogre battle series you know what I am talking about. At the end one of several endings (in the original ob there were 12 or 14 I think) takes place based on your alignment and your public appeal, what special characters joined your army etc...the games are all very long and the gameplay is solid...tons of replayability...just an idea

I remember something like that on SNES. 14 endings? can you tell me about it?

You can have a text ending btw, after the cinamatic. Actually it doesn't sound difficult to make an ending like in Fallout...

That is the one. It originally came out on snes then was transferred to ps1

a sequel came out on 64 and there is a tactics version on Game boy. I have them all but they are hard to find... ebay

I like it. For I had to play 2 months to play the main quest. Now if has multiple endings per character. 6 chars gives 12 months , when does ˛ come out again.

I don't think it'll come out in the 12 months following to

alternate endings which decided by players' decisions. that'll make replayability more meaningful.

certain side quests may not determine the outcome but it'll determine the difficulty of the end game. say for example, in fallout tactics u will have to convince your former commander to mend his evil ways or just kill him off. the first will have him change subtly how the end game will be & made decisions easier. however killing him off will make your final decision harder & big sacrifice on your part is needed to solve the crisis.

subtle & yet full of impact. this isn't stuff of dreams & i'm sure larians can make actions more subtle & consequences have more impact in not one but more parts of the world which the characters are in.

for those who have yet to try the demo of lionheart, the dialogues have little signs to note whether the lines u are about to deliver will provoke or calm or sweet talk or intimidate the NPC that u are engaging. nice little hint to prevent wrong words flying that may break certain quests.

true, but with multiple endings I'd also like to know, what it is that changes the ending, in that way you can save just before an importnt decision and reload to play to another ending from there on

I would like to see a failure ending. Like in DD, where everytime you die, instead of just seeing ur body lying there getting stomped by the creature that killed you, have a small cutscene that shows the orcs, elves, humans, and dwarves at war with each other then the Lord of Chaos overrunning Rivellon.

well, the Esc button or the quick load steps should work like it normally does since u need to do that in order to play again.

this reminds of the 'YOU LOSE!!' part in fight games such as street fighter & samurai showdown where the winner (who kicked your behind dang hard) gloats & said something about him/her being the greatest & u hardly worth his/her effort.

about reloading, go ahead. thing is i hope there is at least ONE alternative to solving quests.
