I’ve been having an absolute blast playing Baldur’s Gate 3 lately—I hope your travels are just as wonderful and full of surprises (even if you’re playing as the Dark Urge!)
One of my favorite ways to enjoy this world is through modding, tailoring the environment to my liking. Recently, I’ve been wanting to change the Hotbar UI—specifically, I want to turn those square skill and action icons into circles (similar to the Great Weapon Master icon style!). I think it would give the UI a much sleeker look.
I’ve tried a few things on my own, like downloading other UI mods to study their structure and unpacking Shared.pak from the Data folder, but the files are so vast and complex that I’m having a hard time finding the exact part to edit.
Could anyone provide a guideline or point me toward the right file paths? If someone could help me get started, I’d love to pour my heart into creating a beautiful UI mod for everyone to enjoy!
