made the screenies I promised, please scroll and tell me if you saw the same colours. Well, I'm confused. I saw this screen before anyway, but please remember that I didn't reach the point at which Josie is already polymorphed into anything. This picture reminds me of nothing. Although when I look at the Demon of Lies, I see the white spot you may have meant before - I guessed properly that this is what I should look for: white eye on the hips. Josie didn't get it. Also picture of Demon of Lies made me confused because it shows Him in both shapes: real and polymorphed at the same time. I wonder if this could be my problem - I never searched for any creature that Josie might have turned into, while she was still standing in front of me in her own body. It comes from the fact that I'm not sure how Polymorph spell works. Does it make a creature exist in two forms at the same time?

No, Arwena, please look at my pics again. I made a sequence - she turns red/white = cursed and then I paused at once - see the words in the upper right corner? Just stay on that link and scroll down a bit. Then you see her in green, correct? That's the polymorph spell - game was paused again, correct? And then I showed you the frog - she's gone.
Only the demon is in several forms, all others polymorphed are only as animals there. Kiya
Look again, ok?

Arwena: I'm Axe Expertise Survivor Oh geez... ![[Linked Image]](http://www.samebaby.com/forum/images/smiles/glupek2.gif) What a shame <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> During all the game I was SO sure that my character was a survivor... But now that I've checked it out I found that I'm a warrior... ![[Linked Image]](http://www.samebaby.com/forum/images/smiles/pomocy.gif) Does it make any difference? Kiya, I've tried to send my save to you all morning, but the mailserver that hosts my professional account which lets me send such big attachments is still down. At the moment I can only use a free website backup-account which has size limits. Please wait a little big longer.

Warrior: Drink a shadow potion and take the warrior's special move (swirl attack) - but NOT on her = NEAR her. He stays invisible, she doesn't attack and you can kill her (hopefully.
No difference for me, Arwena - I'll wait. Josie won't run away <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> - I really want to know why curse doesn't work in your save. Kiya

Ok, curse, doesn't work in your case, no clue why - here the killing technique = shadow potion + swirl attack + stamina potion (was necessary once in my tries) 1. Josie was directly near the pyramid on teleporting back = so run away 2. take shadow potion (do you hear this highpitched noise? Invisible then) 3. search for her and activate the swirl attack 4. hit next to her, you stay invisible, she doesn't react 5. right click to hit her with your special move 6. maybe you need one stamina potion, this move uses it up 7. defeat and lots of XP -> sic pics http://www.kiya1.via.t-online.de/images/Div_Arwena.jpghttp://www.kiya1.via.t-online.de/images/Div_Arwena2.jpghttp://www.kiya1.via.t-online.de/images/Div_Arwena3.jpginteresting was this: your AC is 171 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> - and it was no prob to kill her. So much for heavily AC'ed warriors <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> ( Gcraighammond? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" /> )- this swirl attack is very powerful if you have enough stamina <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

Forgot: In your save I couldn't see Josie when she a bit far away and your char was invisible. Just use this swirl attack and watch for the damage display -> then you're hitting her fully. Kiya http://www.kiya1.via.t-online.de/images/Div_Arwena.jpg.html@to all: there are supposed to be 3 pics in this html - if not, please PM me and name me your browser. I may have to modify then - thank you for participating.

Yeah, yeah, yeah!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> I did it! I'm astonished that it was so easy <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> My technique was slightly different. I activated special move BEFORE teleporting. While Josie's place was loading, I kept my finger on Shadow Potion fkey and when I was in, I turned invisible instantly. However, when rightclicking next to her, I saw blue damage points flying, but I didn't see her damage display <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> interesting was this: your AC is 171 - and it was no prob to kill her. So much for heavily AC'ed warriors ( Gcraighammond? )- this swirl attack is very powerful if you have enough stamina Thanks ![[Linked Image]](http://www.samebaby.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_redface.gif) Indeed, while using special move, Josie did no harm to me in this short time when I turned visible (before taking another shadow potion). Actually I'm a bit angry with myself that I had fought her in vain for so long, because I should have asked you for help earlier ![[Linked Image]](http://www.samebaby.com/forum/images/smiles/glupek2.gif) Anyway, [color:"red"] KIYA, THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP[/color] ![[Linked Image]](http://board.freeweb.pl/pic/smiles/notworthy.gif) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

YEAH! Congrats, Arwena <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" /> - I was amazed myself how powerful this attack is as I never played such a high leveled warrioress before, just mage. Thank you for allowing me to try out Renfri <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> Kiya ![[Linked Image]](http://kiya1.via.t-online.de/images/Div_Arwena4.jpg) do you mean this? No damage display = the red bar, right? Yes, I'm puzzled, too, wasn't there, not even her name - maybe warrior experts here can give an explanation.

I sent your save to Barnie, he's experimenting.
For my screenie he has this explanation: Josie has this white sphere around her, correct? So she is invisible and standing in the wall shadows - we're still discussing it - because I had this phenomenon with Josie in an open room, so the shadow theory doesn't apply. He can't reproduce it - but I'm going to try it this weekend again and if I'm lucky I can make a shot again. Kiya

I musta took the hard road to brootalize that wench. Using a mage, after killing the triple damned pseudo-dwarves, I saved, healed up, and went in to the attack with a dreadknight and skeleton warrior. As soon as she summoned her dreadknight, used aura of command to take over him, then began attacking with my bow. When her hellspikes brutalized my health, I put restoration on standby and abused it, ran low on magic, and used a restoration potion to refill my magic. Took me about 10 minutes and broke my winged helmet (0/20) and my Mythrill plate (0/30). But I finally got her.

Well, without curse freeze didn't work... So I killed her both times by summoning 5 skeletons and my dreadknight to keep her busy and just use level 3-4 Elemental Hail over and over... Elemental Hail stuns the opponent so it took a few restoration potions, but it slowly did the job!
