I've been trying for so long to find the damn hunter in the swamp, without success. Searching for help, I found that many had this problem and it seems connected to the Witch, who has to be defeated first.
The problem is: she disappeared into the fireplace and from the world! She's not in her cave, even if I hear her voice and she can control me trough the mask. I'm not able to trigger the fight, save Mayrina and then find the hunter, so I got 2 sub-quest lost at once. The hunter's one was particular interesting for me, both 'cause I finally wanted to see that part than to have a chance of gaining more approval from Astarion (just to try to unlock the Yurgir confession, later). Not counting the HP I need before the goblins.
I see this problem has been reported a lot of time ago and it doesn't seems fixed, yet. What should I do, now? I already tried all the hints, from throwing large area magics to force the Witch out - in case the bug was that - to simple "see invisibility" power. Nothing. Someone says it can depend on the moment we start to fight her: if inside the house, we should follow her immediately in the cave... the problem is she just disappeares, when the redcaps attack.
At that point, the advice is to reload before entering the house... a shame that, not founding her, I decided to play other 6/7 hours of stuff (thinking I could come back to this later) that I don't even dream to do again.
I think this is QUITE a bug that should be finally fixed, even if it's not a main quest. Any others with this issue and have suggestions? Most important: is anyone still fixing the game?
