That was unexpectedly hilarious in a very BG3 way.
The mock-academic voice works really well, especially because it keeps escalating from “dry legal-philosophical essay” into something completely unhinged while still sounding serious. The ending lands because of that contrast.
A few things I liked:
- the faux scholarly structure feels believable for a Faerûn-flavored satire
- the moral/legal framework makes the joke last longer than a one-note meme
- the final reveal reframes the whole piece nicely
