Why is min-max playing idiotic?

I wanna RP as true "godwoken". I wanna wreck anyone who stands in my way.

My entire min-max run was just me laughing like a OP villain, one-shotting every enemy that stood in my way.

It's a single player game, what others do should not be your concer in the least.
DS players haye min-max builds cause of the pvp, which is valid, but this is a game where everything a player does has 0 impact on other players.

You don't see pokemon nuzlocke players complaining about 12 yr old kids, grinding their pokemons to level 100 and stomping the entire game.

How insecure do you have to be to put down other players game styles to mkae yourself feel good?
