I’ve been there with games that just randomly crash out of nowhere. From what you’ve described, it really seems like it’s something weirdly specific to BG3 on your setup since other games run fine, so probably not a hardware issue. I’d personally try a couple things before wiping Windows completely: make sure Windows itself is fully updated, then maybe try running the game in a completely clean Windows user profile, disable any background apps like overlays, Discord, Radeon software, or even antivirus temporarily, and test. Another thing that helped me with stubborn CTDs in other games was forcing the game to run in DirectX11 instead of Vulkan, or vice versa, with a clean GPU driver install using DDU (which you did, but sometimes doing it fresh without touching Adrenaline at all helps). Also, I’d check the BG3 config files in Documents/Larian Studios for anything corrupted—sometimes deleting those and letting the game remake them fixes CTDs. If none of that works, yeah, a full Windows reinstall might be the nuclear option, but I’d at least try creating a brand new user and clean install first since that’s faster.
