Hi! Since two weeks ago the game has been slowing to a halt during combat, animations, dialogue, exploration, character creation, even the main menu screen. I have tried everything, including removing all saves and mods, desinstalling and reinstalling (as well as driver update, etc.). I cannot even get through character creation normally, it is so slow. It only happens with BG3, all the other games and programs play fine. Has anyone experienced this issue (again, it's new, the game played fine until about two weeks ago), and what can be done to solve it?

I have written to Larian but other than the generic acknowledgement, no answer yet.

Yep! This is the latest Hotfix for BG3 that should address some of the issues with performance and crashes since the latest update: https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=960877#Post960877

It is still terribly broken for me. At least it wasn't until I downloaded the "hotfix" and it broke the game completely for me. It is so slow it's unplayable.

It's even worse now. I love this game so much that I reinstalled windows as a Hail Mary. The first tech didn't even read my ticket. I got a form letter response telling me to do some of the things that I already did... in the ticket. My ticket it wasn't even read. Then the next tech tried to put the onus of this onto me. It worried previously and my machine can handle AAA games with no troubles at all. This is very disconcerting. The the amount of people now having my same exact problem has increased, going by all the other posts in the forums where people are having the same problem as me. Sure regret patching the game now. If I could roll it back I would do so in a heart beat. The cherry on top? The tech guy never even replied to my last response. No one did.
