I have installed the CD version of Divine Divinity and have updated to 1.0034A. I'd like to transfer my saves from the GOG installation into this one but I can't find where the save games are stored. I searched in the games folder and even AppData but I couldn't find anything. I remember it was easy to find them when I was playing the GOG version but I'm not sure how 1.0034A works. Can anyone help me?
Thank you for your answer. I found out first hand, after figuring out the game puts the save files in C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Larian Studios and transferring my saves there. I just ended up installing the GOG version.
No idea what you were going for here, but the experience is pretty much the same with both versions. GOGs version supports 16:9 and has a few more bugs, but you can avoid most by saving often.
