I've been playing through as a Berserker Barbarian Dark Urge, and I just have to say "thank you Larian, for the Barbarian". The dialogue options are so good and so much fun.

I can recommend this playthrough to anyone.

If all you want is the dialogue, any barbarian(1)/xx will do.

As a class, Barbarian in BG3 is underpowered. Rage should be a free action.
