Most of the current feat based mods let you customise exactly how often you get feats (Including tuning them per class if you wish).
Like, you don't even have to make it "Every X levels" you can just simply plop in an extra feat on specific levels.
The one I used was
Universal Feat Every X Level(s) which let you completely customise which levels provided feats.
