Will Riftrunner have animated weapons?

Say I pick up a sword that does fire damage, it glows red with flames jumping of it - the more fire damage, the bigger the flames maybe?

Same with a frost weapon, a little blizzard animates around the weapon.

Or a staff that glows in the dark, either the whole thing or just the ends. The more powerful the staff, the brighter it glows!

Or if you have a bow and fire poison arrows, they have a green hue, or a white hue for lightning arrows. And so on.

I think Dungeon Siege did a good job with this kind of thing, just a bit of fun. It sure could brighten up the dungeons <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

@DATD,
we don't know for sure there aren't animated weapons in <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/riftrunner.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

it would be a nice feature...

I'd love to see glowing weapons, visuals are important, visuals keep us interested, entertained <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Glowing weapons are a very good solution to make weapons look cooler.

Oh, can't say I wouldn't like that. Ice mirrored effects and such... I mean BG, which was in 2D had it, I think there are filters in every 3d program for that (I know there are in 3DSmax and Maya).

Kills the creature at first strike yet deals damage equal to the victim's maximum life total to wielder.
Thank you for remembering me <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

If the creature has a higher maximum life total than you, your dead, very evil sword <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin1.gif" alt="" />

I never used that skill.
How about super stun that also stuns and knocks creature hit to the ground?

what about Sumo hug that makes all enemies into some sort of care bears where they'll trade with u & u get better items like motorised toothbrush & toothpaste for sensitive gum & self-cleaning underwear .... .

yeah, that underwear can glow in the dark! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/idea.gif" alt="" />

How about a weapon that has a pulsating/shimmering light effect which intensifies with every kill (up to a certain limit), but then slowly diminishes when the player isn't killing?

Nothing over the top, just a subtle effect on the blade of a sword, e.g.

just don't ask for vibrating sword as it will embarrass the character & NPCs as well as enemies when your character switches it on.
buzzz.......

hint: it may be the only way to kill the last boss so make him laugh to death.

Yes, maybe when they char says: "Have a strange aura coming from this sword". I think when you use the sword an aura can appear from it. and when you found a gloove what when you put it you can see the bones of your hands you really can see the bones of your hands.

Or swords what have a chance(%) to cast some lvl of some skill, you can have chance to cast winds or other kinds of skill in strike. Or petrify the enemy and you cast any magic and the statue of the enemy is destroyed.
