this reminds me of the magical might skill.
your whole body was animates in flames.
but it was a little "over the top" with that animation..
(sorry Marian, just mt opinion, but stil very nice animated)
but it was somekind of grafical layer put over the character. because i tested this by doing migical might and turning myself to a frog. and now i was a burning frog <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

so now that the characters ar efully 3D, so are the weopons and armor. and i think it's relatively easy to implement somkind of frost or fire skin over tehe weopons ?

What about the effects that aren't entire attached to your body like clouds, fire and energy streams (glowing motion blur)?

Frost Bird Set

pteranodon helm
chicken breast plate
emu legging
spring chicken wings
cold turkey mace
chicken run boots

accumulative attribute acquired: clucky audio attack (25% chance to happen) which will reduce intelligence of enemies drastically, therefore vulnerable to trick questions. feathers disguise (1 charge for each day) will provide ultimate stealth mode. chicken scratch will increase the probability of finding rare &/or unique items to 80%(non-stackable attribute).

yay, and when you cast lightning storm there are dark grey clowds gathering above victim's head and finally lightnings striking him from those clowds.

i think he means clouds of condensed water vapor for perhaps a weapon with freeze - or perhaps dark shadowy clouds for an "evil" armor set... :P

EDIT: glowing weapons ROCK and are actually used in fantasy stories to a minor extent (glowing "sting" from lotr = intelligent application of glow effect so i don't just mean lightsaber/crystal weapons here :P)(as well as "negative" glow effects where light dissappears around an object or armor)
