As the title said : I have a palladin - oath of the crown - in my party. ( respecced Lae'zel). And when Shadowheart releases the Nightsong from her cage, Lae'zel's oath is broken.
I don't understand the reason.
Note that in previous PT's I had Minthara with me, an oath of vengeance palladin, but she never had a problem after releasing Nightsong.

Any ideas on this ?

Lets start with calling Paladins Paldins, not "palladins", please.

No idea about the actual question though, sorry.

Checking the wiki:

"Killing or freeing Aylin if previously agreed to deliver her to Z'rell"

And

"Not letting Balthazar deliver her to Ketheric Thorm if promised him to help"

Will break Crown Paladin's Oath.

This aligns with the tenets of Crown Paladins:

"Loyalty. Your word is your bond; without loyalty, oaths and laws are meaningless."

If you tell someone you will do something, then don't do it, your Oath is broken.

Thanks Taril, it was the last one.
I deceived Balthazar to appease him and then position my party to attack and kill the whole bunch in his HQ.
So crown paladins can't even use deception against evil and for good. Bummer.

It would seem more logical ( and easier to understand) if the oath was broken after I killed B. though. Instead of waiting till we got to nightsong.
