maybe a stupid question, but how do I rest in divdiv?

Click on a bed. The one in Joram's cellar where you start should work, as will any in abandoned houses. Once you reach the farmlands, you can make a hay bed by combining two bundles of straw.
BTW, once you have slept, there is a delay before you can sleep again.

How do you know you can rest?
Anyway, you just close your eyes and think of something peaceful.


Actually you click on a bed. On some you can rest, on some you don't. You may also create a resting place with hay: click on one pack of hay to undo it and drag another on it.

and here's the location of a portable bed - weightless, you can carry it in your inventory - if the hay pricks you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

thx for the help guys. actually, I was looking for a place to rest right at the beginning in the catacombs. just started playing this game (bought it right after release but never got to playing it) so I guess I'll have a lot to learn <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
