Yes, it is normal that the char dies with the ritual. Watch the cutscene and wait.... You'll be 'teleported' to an new area. Just make sure you've done every quest you want, because you cant get back to Rivellon afterwards. (at least not without cheating <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />)

There is a video playing about how you are revived. Then you wake up in some 'desert' and an orc approches you and starts talking.

If the video does not play, check if the disk is in and you dont use a no-cd hack. Normaly it doesnt take that long. I guess about 2 or 3 minutes.

if you end p in the black part of the map and can't move, you got a no-cd hack

And please remove the no-cd hack, otherwise it won't work either...

You have to re-install. You cannot simply remouve the crack.
