I got the impression from the game that one of the benefits of the spear is the ability to throw it, but how?

I believe that one can throw weapons using the boomerang skill, but does this apply to any melee weapon? And, I got the impression that the spear was exempt from this, is it? Or, is it merely that the spear works better, meaning does more damage, using the boomerang skill.

Never tried myself but see if you can select spear mastery in the Ability list.

You can throw it.
1. put the spear into the "weapon slot"
2. select the Skill "knowledge of Spear" (is it correct?)
3. youse the right mousekey to attacking the next enemy

If you use the "boomerang" Skill and a "infighting Weapon", yes the weapon return.
If you use the "knowledge of Spear" Skill and a Spear, you can throw the Spear so often as you want. You does not lose the Spear.

i just wanna know... if boomerang skills... includes stones... i've tried throwing stones to the enemies and it works..

Does it damage the enemies?
Never tried myself.

I have thrown a stone. It does damage them, but not much. Only around 20 points. You just move an object like a chair, stone, garbage, whatever so that it passes by, or lands on the enemy.

It works, but is not very effective since it is slow, low damage, and takes some practice. I can only hit them about one in four times, and I practiced for about 5 minutes.

Yes, spears can be thrown. You need spear expertise to do it. Once you have the spear skill, you select it as your active skill, and right-clicking will throw the spear. Depending on skill level, a thrown spear will do a percentage of the melee damage. The dark side of this is that spears CANNOT be used with the warrior's whirl attack. For warriors wishing for ranged attacks, it is better to switch to a crossbow or bow, use a ranged magic attack, or, potentially, to use boomerang. Boomerang has its serious drawbacks, though, as you'll only do a small percentage of the melee damage until the skill is raised considerably.
