Hi Mordan,

I read this thread entirely to come to a simple conclusion:-

You are a rightful owner of an authentic copy of Divine Divinity game.
The game offers you the option to play as a ranger.
You demand to be able to choose to play as a ranger not with a short or a long bow but with a crossbow.
You discovered that the skill-system of crossbows is not working properly.
The Larian Studios are under the obligation to fix it and they are looking into it right now.

Larian Studios have proven several times to be friendly and they DO listen to their fans.
We trust them that they are doing their best.

All other talk is cheep, and threats or insults are completely out of place.
People like Raze, Kiya, Barnabus and others are volunteering fans, who volunteered to help Newbies.
They are trying to filter tactical problems, which they have experience to solve for you from the software bugs that we all know that they exist to make your life easier.
I finished the game for the 38th time now, and some of them were before any patches were released because I have the game since it was on the market (October 2002) to be precise. On the first days, I had to play the game depending on saves because the game just hung up when memory was full due to memory misuse.
I am telling you that I finished the game when it was FULL of BUGS.
Now we do not have only one-primitive patch but a 1.34, which I consider as paradise compared to the situation I lived at the end of 2002.
I am not saying that Larian Studios should not look into the bugs but that you may live with them until they are ready with the next patch.

My best regards.
