Use drag&drop to remove it.

If you have another ring, you can replace it with that. Click on the ring in you inventory, and it shoudl replace one of the other ones. (IF that makes sence!!!)
But, i think you can also drag out of wear it is.
Sorry if i am not making sence...

LOL! I feel stupid now.. I thought this was just like other RPGs where cursed items stay on you until you find a special person to take it off you

thanks for the welcome and the tip

Wish it was like that. A cursed item stays on you and you have to remouve curse... would be fun .

For the resistance bug he would have had to have taken it off. I don't recall any cursed rings, or other equipment in Divinity, except for the halberd of rock.

Raze, I had quite a few cursed rings in the English version and some of them cut down a part of my resistances (specially in the catacombs and in the Cursed Abbey, dropped by enemies - but even these orcs dropped them). I took great care to check my char over and over again, cause I didn't know if ONLY the magic barrier spell would trigger the res. bug.

And I recall gamers having the stamina bug even without the halberd...
I know, I was very puzzled about this version difference, when I played the Engl. version for the 1st time, cause I had the feeling, the German was not so "cursed" - but maybe I was just lucky.

"Raze, I had quite a few cursed rings in the English version"

Hmmm... so either my memory is bad, I wasn't paying very close attention to the rings I found, or I was lucky. Then again, my memory might just be going bad.

I too have found the occasional item with negative Resistances and Attributes. They're quite rare (so why aren't they worth more! ).

Those cursed rings are still worth quite a bit for some reason. I remember selling them to Kistindalius and thinking, man, you're so getting ripped off.
