Hmmm...This demon, Samuel, reminds me of that companion, Samuel in the Sword of Truth series...Samuel was that companion of the witch woman Shota. He is a little creature, has "bulgy" yellow eyes, was somehow mutated as a human into this form through the "Sword of Truth"...seems a little psychopathic to me...A bit of the storyline seems similar to the Sword of Truth Series...A necromancer is seeking to control you? In Wizard's First Rule, Darken Rahl, an evil mage, seeks to control Richard, a woodsman who does not yet know how much responsibility and influence he'll later have in his life.
