decal is like insignia or symbol which represents the group that u are in league with. take for example, england's football(soccer for the americans) team uses red dragon/gryphon for its symbol. this can be 'painted' on a sorceror's robe, or a warrior's shield or a rogue's tunic/cape. don't know if it's possible so marian is the person we should seek for answers.
