Fire damage is the best - liches have a low fire resistance.
Kiya

Liche level = 31
fire resistance = minus 31
Lightning = plus 46

Or another tip: rase your own spirit res <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />. Then there spells are useless, since they rely on spirit res <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />

Hi,

When it comes to liches, never let them get close to you and attack you. Keep this tip in mind if you're a low level character. Instead, stay at a distance and fire some arrows with whatever bow you have. Hit them with arrows and run before they get close to you. I've discovered that liches never use a lightning bolt or even life drain before attacking you up close with those sharp talons or whatever those things are. By the way, fire works well against them.

Thanks.

Hi LewsTherinKinslayer13,

Another way to defeat a creature is to notice their attack sequence and find a way to break it before it starts.
My post was just to point out that creature's sequence of attack. Liches will always first attack you up close and then start using magical spells such as lightning bolt or life leech. If you stop them from attacking you up close, they will never use magical spells.
Other examples: Skeletal conjurers will always start with a summoning spell before they start to attack you. If you banish what they summon, they'll start doing it again.
Josephina follows this attack sequence...First, she summons a Deathknight, then will usually proceed with a Blind spell and finally Hell Spikes.
I can't think of anymore but I'm sure there are other attack sequences.
If you've been playing the game for a while, I think some of this knowledge will be useful if you want to try your hand at winning under the lowest levels. By the way, what was the lowest level a person had in beating this game? I forgot.

Thanks.
