do i get any kind of deduction of exp if summons get the last hit?
No, you do not get deduction but you are robbed from the possible experience you would have gained if it were you who killed the foe rather than your companion. In very simple words, if you do not fight you do not gain fighting experience points, so if your companion kills your foes then why should you gain that experience?
Scorpions are your weapon and they behave like a sword. Thus, you hit your foe with an arrow, a sword or a scorpion and gain experience points but you do not hit them by the sword of a death knight you have summoned to add to your experience but rather to his/its/hers experience.
