Am I the only one that is confused by these skills? It just doesn't make any sense to me that the lower-level-requirement one gives an apparently better bonus then the high-level-requirement one. Or is there a difference between the two that isn't exactly easy to gather from the skill descriptions? (the bonuses being slightly-differently phrased - increased by 2 vs. increase with one, or something like that)

In any event, I'm kinda confused and interested....

Hi WildMoose,

Here are the skills:

Ranger Sight (Passive)
Grants you the keen eyesight of a ranger to help you see your enemies from afar.
Level 1 Increase sight range with 1.
Required level is 6.
Level 2 Increase sight range with 1.
Required level is 12.
Level 3 Increase sight range with 1.
Required level is 18.
Level 4 Increase sight range with 1.
Required level is 24.
Level 5 Increase sight range with 1.
Required level is 30.

Elven Sight (Passive)
You can see further and thus target and attack your enemies from afar.
Level 1 Increase sight range with 2.
Required level is 1.
Level 2 Increase sight range with 4.
Required level is 5.
Level 3 Increase sight range with 8.
Required level is 9.
Level 4 Increase sight range with 10.
Required level is 13.
Level 5 Increase sight range with 12.
Required level is 17.

This is probably all the information you'll need on these two skills. I agree. It doesn't seem to make sense why a skill that requires a low level gives a better bonus. Nevertheless, Elven Sight is better than Ranger Sight.

Thanks.

Thanks - I was just making sure that I wasn't overlooking something here, like maybe somehow there were two different ways to add bonuses to sight range that I didn't know...and I was kinda curious if anybody had tested this at all. I'd seen the stats posted in a similar, earlier thread, but thanks for the elaborate response and for not getting ticked at me for what is sort of a duplicate question...
