BTW, if you need to use the hex editor method, it would be easier if you leave the dungeon, rescue Zandalor and get your teleporter stones back, then return for the lower levels. There is a shortcut from the bottom of the dungeon to level 1, but if you don't have your teleporter stones, you would either have to hex edit multiple times, or finish the dungeon without leaving to sleep or drop loot, etc.
