You are saying taht you're dying every five minutes... you should increase your constitution... you don't have to start a nwe game
The mage spells are the best (metheor shower after my opinion is the best spell until you reach to a hygher level)

Hi everyone. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I'm also new to the game & in the same area - currently level 5 as a survivor/mage. I have two levels in meteorstrike & assasin's kiss, one level in deadly gift - only have the 'boss' ai to go to complete the quest. Just wondering - will I be able to 'survive' the coming fight or should I level more first (just trying to avoid multiple reloads!)

Make sure you have lots of resteration potions...
If you have scorpions to use with you deadly gift, release some of those suckers. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
The best way to fight some of the bigger enemies at this point of the game, is hit and run. You should be fine...i was a level 5 by this time as well.
