I'm actually Asian... born and raised in the Philippines (yes.. pick from 7,101 islands *snickers* ) My family moved to the US when I was 17 years old.. never left since then. I do miss the home country despite how terrible the economy has gotten. My favourite place has always been the fishing village where my grandparents (mother's side) lived. I always had good memories there...diving for shrimp and fish, play with seahorses, or just sit on the sand watching the sunset or the sunrise. The country is typically warm and humid, like any tropical country.

I relocated around several times within the US. So, I'm at a point where I have no clue which to claim as my home. Currently though, I live in California (Los Angeles area), where the sun always shines. (God, I miss the rain!). I prefer the northern parts of the US, because they tend to be cooler. And I always enjoyed the four seasons.

I used to be a dental hygienist/assistant in the US army. After leaving the service, I ended up taking college courses here and there.. Zoology major at that time and worked as a primatekeeper for a while. Became a single mother two years ago. Now, I'm a Network Systems Management major...focus on CISCO. (Zoology was such a long haul for me to finish with the little time I had, raising children at the same time.. Perhaps I can get back to it when my children are older).

In the future though, I am looking into moving outside the US (either somewhere in Europe or perhaps in New Zealand).
